Ralph Cripe Field

Ralph Cripe Field is the home of the Carlsbad HS Lancers baseball team and the San Diego Bombers collegiate summer baseball team located in Carlsbad, CA.

The immaculate field was selected as the 2022 Field of the Year for Region 8. Ralph Cripe was honored and the field was named after him on May 8th, 2023 with a “Lifetime Achievement Award” for all of his hard work, dedication, and volunteering to the Carlsbad HS baseball program.

About the San Diego Bombers

rprH wILThe San Diego Bombers is a wood bat, summer collegiate baseball team that’s a part of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, North County Sports Group.

We will be competing in the California Collegiate League (CCL) as an Affiliate Team for the 2025 season, we will also be playing in the Western Baseball Association in San Diego, CA (This will be our 3rd year in WBA 2023-Present), along with getting an invite to the Utah Marshalls World Series from July 29th-August 2nd, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Established in 2023, we bring San Diego County a thrilling season of college summer baseball with talented players from across the world.

A few of our alumni include Nick Naccarato (OF, Chapman University), Brody Martin-Grudzielanek (University of Hawaii), Will Sanford (University of Oregon), Nolan Sparks (Northern Kentucky University), Everette Harris (Appalachian State University), Lucas Bonham (UC Riverside), Thomas Williams (University of Texas Rio Grande Valley).
